Ms. Goldstein is a Senior Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist who has experience working with both the pediatric and adult populations. She’s been an essential part of the New York Neurogenic clinical team since 2008.
Melissa is a graduate of Hunter College’s Department of Communication Sciences (Master of Science) and holds a New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate.
In the recent past, Ms. Goldstein has worked in clinical settings including public schools, preschools, outpatient rehabilitation, and adult private practice. Her pediatric experience includes evaluating and treating children with articulation, language and phonological disorders. Ms. Goldstein has an additional expertise in reading and literacy and is certified in the WILSON Reading System®. She is a LSVT LOUD® and Guardian NMES® certified therapist and actively treats adults with Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Aphasia.
