Ms.Murali has clinical occupational therapy experience in inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings with both adults and children. She has worked with patients with a multitude of diagnoses including Parkinson’s, stroke, and brain tumors, and she is skilled at incorporating patient interests into evidence-based therapy activities. Roshni believes in working collaboratively with patients and involving them as active members of the therapy team.
Roshni’s background in psychology and social services allows her to consider the personal impact of impairment, and the ways in which function can influence quality of life. Roshni is passionate about the values of occupational therapy and the idea that participation is essential to one’s wellbeing and sense of self.
Roshni is a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She has co-led wellness sessions for caregivers of people with Parkinson’s through the Brooklyn Parkinson’s Group, and she assisted with a Neuro-Developmental Treatment workshop for graduate occupational therapy students. She is also fluent in French.
